Alex and I came back from Friday Harbor on Sunday and found that the forms were off and the foundation had been back-filled. Ted and crew were already preparing the ground for the thick foam insulation that will go under our heated slab floor. The plumber will be coming this week to run the Pex tubing for the radiant heating system and other rough plumbing. It was interesting to see the outline of the house start to take shape. It always looks smaller at this stage than it does when the rest of the structure is built.
