Tomorrow is the big day–we’re moving into our new place. Is the house done? Well, not quite. We’re still finishing the reclaimed wood floors upstairs, which turned out to be beautiful but a ton of work, and we’re tying up a lot of other loose ends. But we’ll have a roof over our heads when our apartment lease ends, and we’ll have lots of motivation to finish the projects we’ve started because we’ll be right there in the midst of everything.
Below is an album of photos taken by Eric’s mom, who is our hero. She came from Wisconsin for just under a week to help us with the house and with moving. She painted all the downstairs trim, sanded big portions of the floor, and helped us pack. Her seemingly boundless energy put us young folks to shame. Thanks, Mom!
